Make a selection NLA70100400 H-filter side decal below inlet. 356's & 912's used three types of oil filters. The mann filter was used for the most part on early 356 (or pre "a") and possibly a few very early a's. This filter is identified by a 10mm bolt. The rest of the cars used either the h-filter (which is identified by a 16mm bolt) or the fram filter (which is identified by a 12mm bolt). Since there are no chassis or engine number breaks which denote the use of these filters, it is best to measure the bolt to identify your filter. Also, h-filter canisters are generally either all silver or silver with a black cover while fram canisters are orange with a black cover. General Fitment356 1950-59356 1960-65

Make a selection 47090704 Bmc sport air filters were originally developed in association with the ferrari f1 team. Bmc is one of the most recognized brands in the automotive industry and is the most successful filter in many types of racing. Oem filters only require a total particle filtration efficiency up to a minimum size of 10 microns. Oem air filters function primarily to protect the engine, so they are cost effectively produced in paper. Paper filters have high resistance to airflow that reduces the inlet pressure and consequently engine performance. A bmc sport filter contains an outer epoxy coated alloy mesh with internal layers of cotton gauze that have been immersed in a low viscosity oil. That technique ensures protection fro...(choose a part on the right to read more)
